ADMINISTRATIVE POLICIES
To be considered for enrollment, all applicants must have completed the required prerequisite courses offered by Taqwa Academy or their equivalents elsewhere. Applicants then must complete an application form detailing their intent, educational background, and other necessary details found in the form. If selected, applicants will then be required to partake in an in-person interview with instructors. Finally, successful applicants will then be required to formerly register completing their application process.

Students with strong portfolios may be allowed to join the AXIS program without completing the prerequisites. All students who receive admission in this manner will be required to maintain pace with all courses. Successful completion of all course requirements will allow for aforementioned students to be considered for the ijāza qualification.

THE FINANCIAL AID AND FEE POLICY
The Taqwa Academy Financial Aid and Fee Policy will apply to the AXIS program on an individual basis. Applicants requiring financial aid may formerly request subsidized tuition to up to 80% of the monthly fee. In extreme circumstances, applicants may request further subsidiaries up to 100% as needed and may be asked to demonstrate financial need. Students leveraging subsidiaries must attend live classes within reason and complete all assessments. Failure to do so may result in a removal from the program.
We recognize that some individuals, from all walks of life, may face financial constraints that hinder their ability to afford tuition fees and we are committed to ensuring prospective students feel welcome despite any such financial hardships. Our doors are open and so long as an individual is serious in their pursuit of knowledge, we will accommodate by any means necessary. We cannot overstate enough the fact that there is absolutely no judgement with regards to the legitimate usage of this clause and rather, hope that to whom this applies leverage it and benefit, whether they be students, working professionals, or simply facing hard times.
Detailed schedules will be released every calendar year. Normally, the following days are given off:
- Ramadan (alternative classes scheduled);
- Eid;
- All statutory holidays;
- Winter break; and
- Some extent of the summer break;
The ABC program will be conducted through hybrid sessions, consisting of one in-person class per week at the residence of Ustadh Syed as well as the AlHuda Elementary School campus in Mississauga. The HCL program will be conducted entirely in-person at the residence of Ustadh Danyal. Students are expected to be physically present for all classes. Online attendance will be available for distance learners, but will only be granted on an individual basis.
Students must attend all classes. Exemptions may be granted on an individual basis. Failure to attend three or more classes without a registered absence may result in probational status or removal from the program.
In the AXIS program, students are not permitted to invite guests to any of the classes without express permission of the instructors, whether live or in-person, due to the advanced nature of the content.
Plagiarism of any kind found in student work will result in immediate probational status or removal from the program. This includes using AI to write assignments. Beyond that, students are strongly discouraged from relying on AI to any degree, due to the adverse consequences to development found as a result of reliance on AI.
Students must complete and pass all assessments as a part of the program. Failure to do so may result in a student being placed under probation, wherein they must complete remedial assignments and/or follow specific guidelines to remain within the program. If a student is unsuccessful in doing so, they may face dismissal from the program.
All course content and recordings will be made available to students through the online portal. It is prohibited for students to share their access to the portal with any other individual, registered or otherwise. Contraventions to this clause will result in immediate dismissal from the program.
May Allah overlook our shortcomings, accept our good deeds, and bless us all in our provisions, both material and immaterial.
Ameen
