COURSE OVERVIEW
The Pursuit of Learning the Arrangements, Themes, and Hermeneutics of the 114 Chapters of the Qurʾan (PATH114) is a guided, seminar-style study designed to cultivate a deep and reflective engagement with the Qurʾan. Through structured readings and discussion, students are trained in the tools of contemplative reflection, while exploring key exegetical insights and the interconnected nature of the Qurʾanic discourse.
The program examines the arrangement and thematic coherence of the Qurʾan, drawing out its major theological, legal, and spiritual lessons. Students engage with the manners of approaching the Qurʾan, its virtues, and its overarching themes, alongside studies in Qurʾanic cohesiveness, mapping, and Seerah-based analysis. By the end of the course, students develop the ability to navigate the Qurʾan with greater depth, clarity, and intellectual confidence.
