Course Description

This course invites students to a modular, 24-session exploration of the subtleties (لطائف) of the Qur'an, designed to cultivate a profound and lasting appreciation for the Divine Word. The Qur'an demands attention — but it equally demands appreciation. Through a structured journey across its linguistic, structural, and literary dimensions, this course compels students to take the Qur'an more seriously and to become genuinely captivated by its world.

Course Objective

This course empowers every student with the tools to see the Qur'an through a more subtle, nuanced, and deeper lens — proving, without a shadow of a doubt, the miraculous nature of the Qur'an. Each class and module is designed to ensure that once students discover this dimension of the Qur'an, they unlock a level of appreciation for the text that is lasting, impactful, and transformative.

How You're Evaluated

As this is a certification course, students are evaluated in a mild and supportive manner across four categories.

Knowledge
Each module concludes with an open-book multiple-choice (MCQ) online test.
Application
A written assignment prompts students to dig deeper into case studies drawn from the content learned in class.
Thinking & Inquiry
Group discussions and in-class responses take place throughout the course to ensure engagement and comprehension of the material.
Communication
A short reflection paper is written at the conclusion of the course.
