Taqwa is an academic Institute which is developed to empower students with sacred Islamic knowledge to enhance their confidence, leadership skills, moral compass and to instill the basic Islamic ethos of slavery to God and servitude to the creation of God. Social service therefore is at the essence of an Islamic character. A service that transcends the notions of race, gender, nationalism, ‘culturalism and other barriers that come between communities and individuals. A great future aspect of The Taqwa Institute is the development of Social Services within the neighboring communities.
